Artist Carla Cohen Meet & Greet

Come to Parachute on Saturday, March 29 from 11a-4p to meet Carla Cohen.

Carla’s art will be showcased at Parachute throughout the Galleria Floral Experience event March 23- April 6.

Carla Cohen’s work is a bold exploration of form, texture, and contrast, built through multilayered mixed media. Her improvisational process begins with line work, creating a foundation for abstracted shapes and transparent layers of hand-printed papers. This layering invites viewers to look beyond the surface, uncovering hidden narratives and connections within the work.

A self-taught artist, Cohen’s creative background spans jewelry design, art direction, food blogging, and styling, all of which inform her approach to composition and layering. Her work has been featured in Vanity Fair, exhibited internationally, and is part of public and private collections across the US and Europe. She is a founding member of Global Artelier 21 and currently lives and paints in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
